clim-eat-at-cop-30

Five years to go. Let’s make them count.

Clim-Eat was never meant to be here forever. We’ve got five years left on the clock—and a lot still to do.

We’ve often questioned whether the COP process really delivers for farmers, food systems, or the planet. We still do. We don’t have time for declarations that sound good but go nowhere.

But that’s exactly why we’re in Belém: small team, sharp focus, and a determination to make every conversation count.

We’re here to focus on what matters most: turning good ideas into creative collaboration. And we’re being upfront about what that means for us: progress on resilience, finance that moves, and policies that feed people and planet better.

Here’s what we’re aiming for:

  • Accelerate efforts to repurpose public support for climate and resilience. This means shifting subsidies and incentives, through inclusive policy design that integrates farmer expertise, to reward practices that reduce emissions, restore soils, and secure nutrition.
  • Forge partnerships with 3–5 countries and national partners to create enabling environments for innovations that tackle super pollutants, like methane and nitrous oxide, linking finance, policy, and technology in ways that can scale.
  • Challenge ourselves—and others—to get unstuck. We’re done debating labels. Whether you call it CSA, agroecology, or regenerative approaches: what matters is what actually shifts systems, money, and mindsets. Too often, real solutions are boxed in by frameworks and terminology. We’re here to connect the dots across agendas, from health to climate, and focus on what genuinely delivers impact.

Across our events, from ASEAN to Africa to Latin America, we’re amplifying south–south cooperation that shows implementation doesn’t need to wait for permission. We’re impatient, practical, and ready to work with those who feel the same.

Because five years isn’t long. But it’s long enough to make it count.
