Climate and nutrition in ASEAN: the case for integrated action in agriculture explores how ASEAN can better connect climate resilience, nutrition, and agriculture to deliver healthier, more sustainable food systems. While regional policies increasingly recognize these interlinkages, implementation and financing often remain fragmented.
Developed by Clim-Eat, with inputs from the GIZ AgriTrade Project, the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement Secretariat, and the Mekong Institute, the brief outlines practical opportunities for ASEAN-CRN members to integrate nutrition into climate-smart agriculture, strengthen public-private collaboration, reduce food loss and waste, and build resilience for vulnerable communities.
Designed to inform discussion and action, the brief provides practical entry points for policymakers and practitioners to accelerate integrated approaches across the ASEAN region.
