ALIGN: Where policy meets capital to shift food systems
About The Event
As momentum builds toward COP31, the Clim-Eat House of Impact will convene a curated series of high-level conversations focused on one central challenge:
How do we move from political ambition to coordinated implementation for food systems transformation?
Hosted during London Climate Action Week, the House of Impact brings together policymakers, finance institutions, philanthropy, multilaterals, civil society, and systems leaders under one roof to explore practical pathways for action ahead of COP31.
At a moment shaped by climate shocks, fiscal pressure, geopolitical instability, and growing concerns around food security and resilience, the House is designed as a focused convening space to align policy priorities, financing pathways, and institutional collaboration.
The programme is closely linked to the work of the High-Level Panel for a Just Rural Transition (HLP), including emerging discussions around agricultural subsidy reform, public finance repurposing, and resilient rural economies.
Throughout the day, invite-only sessions will explore:
- The political economy of agricultural subsidy reform
- Country-led pathways for repurposing public support
- Financing and implementation opportunities
- Coalition-building ahead of COP31
- How momentum can be carried forward through New York Climate Week and beyond
Confirmed and invited participants include senior government representatives, development finance institutions, philanthropy, investors, and strategic partners, alongside leaders connected to the COP31 process.
The programme will feature participation from Former President of Costa Rica and Chair of the High-Level Panel for a Just Rural Transition, H.E. Carlos Alvarado Quesada and also Mr. Orhan Solak, Deputy Director, Directorate of Climate Change of Türkiye.
