Accelerating a green transition in the global fertilizer industry
Summary
In collaboration with the ClimateWorks Foundation, this project aims to accelerate a green transition in the global fertilizer industry (currently responsible for ~2% of global GHG emissions). It seeks to scale innovative technologies, sustainable practices, and generate evidence to secure commitments for a greener fertilizer sector. The goal? Driving down emissions while improving resilience and soil health, protecting ecosystems, and tackling systemic injustice. The goal? A food system that works for people, the planet, and the climate—all at once.
